- GasBuddy – finding exclusive deals for gas and which stations are open. To view locations with fuel on a map, you can visit their Tracker Map, which allows a user to zoom in and out of the Baton Rouge area.

August 30: Pastoral Letter from Fr Tommy
Dear Beloved of St. Margaret's,
I offer prayers and love to you all as the people of our state begin to recover from yesterday's hurricane and its ongoing impact on our community.
I have asked our Pastoral Care Team members to contact members of our church to check in with each of you, but if you need any assistance before the team contacts you, please text or call me at 225-933-3288.
You might wonder what can be done now. For now, the greatest gift you can give to others is to check in with one another, check-in with your neighbor, serve when opportunities are presented, stay safe and rested... your energy and health will be crucial to the recovery of our community in the weeks to come.
I spoke with our Junior Warden, Ronny Daley, who surveyed the church property, and the buildings are safe and secure. But as with all storms, we have debris all over the church parking lot, sidewalks, windows, and yard.
Ronny invites you to the church this Saturday, September 4, at 9 am for a community clean-up effort. Bring your power blowers, rakes, and gloves. Ronny will bring bags, water, and snacks. You can reach out to him to let him know if you will come to church this Saturday by texting or calling 225-324-1609.
I am grateful that Mother Jane-Allison Wiggin will be the presider and preacher this Sunday at the 8 and 10 am masses. I also offer thanksgiving for Fr Ron Clingenpeel's presence with our community this summer during the clergy renewal.
I look forward to being back with you when the clergy renewal time ends on September 8 and my first Sunday back with you on September 12.
