Lectors and Intercessors
Lectors perform the vital ministry of reading the Word of God from the Old and New Testaments at the Eucharist and on other occasions. Likewise, our Intercessors read the prayers of the people during the Mass. Adding not only a personal touch of these intercessions being read from the congregation, but making these bindings a true part of the liturgy, “the work of the people.”
Lectors and Intercessors, by necessity, should be those who possess the gift of reading well in public.
